Uganda Health Facilities and Solar Availability Map
The Center for Rapid Evidence Synthesis (ACRES) built this Shiny dashboard at the request of the National Renewable Energy Platform (NREP). It helps NREP view:
- Which health facilities in Uganda have received solar-power interventions;
- Which funders and implementing partners were involved;
- The levels of care and regions each stakeholder prioritises;
- Where solar installations are operational — or no longer so.

About this application
This interactive map was developed by the Center for Rapid Evidence Synthesis (ACRES) to visualise solar-panel installations at health facilities in Uganda.
The data used to inform this analysis is from existing reports and publications. Therefore, the quality of this data is dependent on the quality of the source reports, and its recentness is dependent on the year of data collection that informed the reports.
